Good plans easy to follow
Once I saw this idea I was hooked.
As a weekend warrior I'm always setting up and taking down my shop for projects. This build helps me for an assembly table.
The plans are clean and the dedicated YouTube video is an excellent addition to help bridge any potential questions.
It took me about two and half days to build. I elected to convert 2x4s to 3.25. In addition I sanded all the boards as well. Personally I think it looks better than raw 2x4 but you have to take into question the time.
Take care when assembling the table top to the 2x4s. Make sure the boards are as straight as can be and square. If it's not flush it makes it difficult to fasten the table top. I recommend pocket screws in lieu of construction screws to attach. I used both. Construction in the long side and pocket on the ends.
I'm happy this is completed and I'm already enjoying! I look forward to purchasing more plans!
I haven’t had the chance build it yet but the plans and the video look to be very thorough. Looking forward to building it
This workbench turned out amazing. The plans were detailed and easy to follow. I'm impressed with the size and the rigidity of the bench. I'm excited to build some new cabinets on this sturdy bench.
