Introducing the King Size Mobile Miter Saw Station Plans
Key Features:
- Adaptable To Your Miter Saw: Although this miter saw station can work for almost any saw, I have created it to fit these popular, larger saws:
- Bosch GCM12SD
- Ridgid R4222
- Dewalt 779/780
- Dewalt 715
- Festool Kapex KS 120
- Festool Kapex KSC 60
- Ryobi TSS121
If your saw is smaller than these saws the King Size Mobile Miter Saw Station plans will still work, but consider using my Better Mobile Miter Saw Station plans which is designed for a smaller saw.
- Foldable Wings: The foldable wings provide 42 inches of cutting surface on each side of the miter saw when they are up and can fold down when the saw is not in use.
- Storage Options & Dust Collection: This includes 2 drawers for your smaller tools and accessories and a lower storage space for a shop vac.
- Versatility for All Skill Levels: Whether you're a beginner honing your skills or an advanced builder looking for a practical addition to your workspace, these plans cater to all skill levels.

I am a beginner. This cabinet was super challenging - my large wood pile testifies to this.
First, a track saw is a must when long pieces exceed the fence capacity of a table saw.
- most beginners don't own one.
Door and hinge placement is very confusing for a beginner even with the Berta video as a reference- a bit more instruction detail and maybe a gigit hinge plate gig would be huge.
Dado placement and cutting was challenging- any tips on how to accurately place these would help - there is zero tolerance for minor errors.
Little detail things like extra long drill bits or driver bit extenders for hard-to-reach drill holes in the folding bracket helps.
In sum, I would consider this an intermediate woodworking project that will challenge a beginner like myself - I was way out of my comfort zone but learned a lot!

Great plans and video….
Well thought out and easy to read.
I haven’t used the plans yet but they are clear and conscience and the video is great!
